Manager of Education

A position working as part of the Management Team of a Nursery overseeing the Care and Education provided for all children across the setting.
You will be responsible for ensuring the EYFS is delivered to a high standard in all rooms and all children are provided for as individulas.
In this hands-on role you willl be responsible for providing guidance and in-house training to all staff as required and ensure all outside training opportunities are utilised.

You will the the point of contact for all parents within the setting, providing information regarding the curriculum and activities provided and advising parents and carers of their child\\\'s development.

This position requires the successful applicant to have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals from all walks of life.

You will be responsible for developing links with the wider community to extend the children\\\'s learning and development, liaising with SEN workers, local schools and the local authority as appropriate.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
