Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning & Development Assistant to work on an ongoing contract.
You will work closely with the Step Change Croydon programme and departments to assess Learning & Development needs and design and deliver L&D interventions as a result of the Step Change transformation programme ensuring they reflect both technical and statutory needs through effective consultancy.
Essential experience:
Experience of managing staff
Previous experience of working within the social care agenda Experience of working closely with management, at all levels, gaining credibility with that level of the organisation
Experience in evaluating the impact of training interventions and in providing management reports
Experience of sing diagnostic tools, e.g. STEP analysis, GAP analysis, Training Needs Analysis, Skills Audit, SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis
Special conditions:
·Required to work outside of core hours, including evenings as appropriate
·Expected to attend meetings and conferences outside of the borough as appropriate
·Must produce an annual report detailing continued professional development
·Should be involved in coaching and mentoring both within the HR community and more widely across the organisation
·Proactive approach to networking and involvement in social events both within the HR community and outside of the organisation
